Stick-to-it-iveness

Stick-to-it-iveness pays off!   How many times have I wanted to give up…but haven’t? How many times have I felt overwhelmed and wanted to run the opposite direction…but haven’t?  How many times have I wanted to throw in the towel…but haven’t?  The answers are too many times to count.  It’s when we trudge onward during these times that we get to savor real triumph!

One of my favorite verses is Gal.6.9.  If you don’t know it, get intimate with it because it will produce something in you bigger than yourself, something unattainable by human efforts.

If you need a human example of this verse, let me point you towards Daniel and Jessie Fox. They are missionaries serving with Signs of Love in Honduras. They have unfailingly served through the darkest of circumstances:  deaths, robberies, attacks, criticisms, betrayals, and more.  Through it all, they have never given up. They’ve kept doing what is right.  Their steadfast belief in their Savior’s love accelerates them onward in accomplishing the impossible.

Signs of Love’s mission is important to God.  Proof:  He gives us people like Daniel and Jessie to carry forth His work.  Proof:  Deaf people who didn’t have access to language 10 years ago are now learning Old and New Testament prophecies and of their fulfillment in Christ!   Proof:  We are making disciples and baptizing in the name of Jesus Christ and teaching them to obey what God has commanded us.
Stick-to-it-iveness pays off!

Let’s all be reminded today to let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

A recent Signs of Love gathering where God's
presence was powerful, and He taught everyone
in attendance through His willing servants
Jessie and Daniel.
Jessie uses creativity to convey important messages.
What important messages do you strive to convey?
"You will reap a harvest if you do not give up!"
What may that look like for you?
